Al-Baqarah:
The Cow |
سورة
البقرة |
|
 |
يَا
أَيُّهَا
النَّاسُ
اعْبُدُواْ
رَبَّكُمُ
الَّذِي
خَلَقَكُمْ
وَالَّذِينَ
مِن
قَبْلِكُمْ
لَعَلَّكُمْ
تَتَّقُونَ
21. O you humanity, worship your Lord, the One who created
you and the ones before you so you might venerate.
الَّذِي
جَعَلَ
لَكُمُ
الأَرْضَ
فِرَاشاً
وَالسَّمَاء
بِنَاء
وَأَنزَلَ
مِنَ
السَّمَاء
مَاء
فَأَخْرَجَ
بِهِ مِنَ
الثَّمَرَاتِ
رِزْقاً
لَّكُمْ
فَلاَ
تَجْعَلُواْ
لِلّهِ
أَندَاداً
وَأَنتُمْ
تَعْلَمُونَ
22. The One who made for you the earth as a spread and the
sky as a building, and descended from the sky water; then He
issued with it from the produce a provision for you; so make
not with Allah peers while you know.
وَإِن
كُنتُمْ
فِي
رَيْبٍ
مِّمَّا
نَزَّلْنَا
عَلَى
عَبْدِنَا
فَأْتُواْ
بِسُورَةٍ
مِّن
مِّثْلِهِ
وَادْعُواْ
شُهَدَاءكُم
مِّن
دُونِ
اللّهِ
إِنْ
كُنْتُمْ
صَادِقِينَ
23. And if you were ever in suspicion of what We descended on
Our slave then bring a surah
similar to
it, and call your
witnesses outside of Allah if you were ever truthful.
فَإِن
لَّمْ
تَفْعَلُواْ
وَلَن
تَفْعَلُواْ
فَاتَّقُواْ
النَّارَ
الَّتِي
وَقُودُهَا
النَّاسُ
وَالْحِجَارَةُ
أُعِدَّتْ
لِلْكَافِرِينَ
24. So if you do not, and you will not, then shield against the
fire, the one whose fuel is humanity and stones, prepared for the
repudiators.
وَبَشِّرِ
الَّذِين
آمَنُواْ
وَعَمِلُواْ
الصَّالِحَاتِ
أَنَّ
لَهُمْ
جَنَّاتٍ
تَجْرِي
مِن
تَحْتِهَا
الأَنْهَارُ
كُلَّمَا
رُزِقُواْ
مِنْهَا
مِن
ثَمَرَةٍ
رِّزْقاً
قَالُواْ
هَـذَا
الَّذِي
رُزِقْنَا
مِن
قَبْلُ
وَأُتُواْ
بِهِ
مُتَشَابِهاً
وَلَهُمْ
فِيهَا
أَزْوَاجٌ
مُّطَهَّرَةٌ
وَهُمْ
فِيهَا
خَالِدُونَ
25. And herald glad tidings to the ones who had faith and
performed righteousness that for them are gardens, running from beneath them
are rivers. Whenever they are provisioned from them any
produce, as a provision, they would say, "This is what we were
provisioned from before" and they were provided it in
resemblance. And for them therein are purified spouses, and they
are in it eternally.
إِنَّ
اللَّهَ
لاَ
يَسْتَحْيِي
أَن
يَضْرِبَ
مَثَلاً
مَّا
بَعُوضَةً
فَمَا
فَوْقَهَا
فَأَمَّا
الَّذِينَ
آمَنُواْ
فَيَعْلَمُونَ
أَنَّهُ
الْحَقُّ
مِن
رَّبِّهِمْ
وَأَمَّا
الَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
فَيَقُولُونَ
مَاذَا
أَرَادَ
اللَّهُ
بِهَـذَا
مَثَلاً
يُضِلُّ
بِهِ
كَثِيراً
وَيَهْدِي
بِهِ
كَثِيراً
وَمَا
يُضِلُّ
بِهِ
إِلاَّ
الْفَاسِقِينَ
26. Assuredly not is Allah embarrassed to strike a simile such
as a midge or what is beyond it. So as for the ones who
had faith, then they know assuredly that it is the right from
their Lord; and as for the ones who repudiated, then they say,
"What did Allah want by this simile?" He
deviates by it an abundance, and guides by it an abundance, and He deviates not
by it except the divergent.
الَّذِينَ
يَنقُضُونَ
عَهْدَ
اللَّهِ
مِن
بَعْدِ
مِيثَاقِهِ
وَيَقْطَعُونَ
مَا
أَمَرَ
اللَّهُ
بِهِ أَن
يُوصَلَ
وَيُفْسِدُونَ
فِي
الأَرْضِ
أُولَـئِكَ
هُمُ
الْخَاسِرُونَ
27. The ones who undo Allah's pledge after its covenant, and
sever what Allah ordered in it to be joined and corrupt on
Earth; those are the losers.
كَيْفَ
تَكْفُرُونَ
بِاللَّهِ
وَكُنتُمْ
أَمْوَاتاً
فَأَحْيَاكُمْ
ثُمَّ
يُمِيتُكُمْ
ثُمَّ
يُحْيِيكُمْ
ثُمَّ
إِلَيْهِ
تُرْجَعُونَ
28. How do you repudiate in Allah and you were dead, so He
vivified you; then He deadens you, then vivifies you; then to
Him you return?
هُوَ
الَّذِي
خَلَقَ
لَكُم
مَّا فِي
الأَرْضِ
جَمِيعاً
ثُمَّ
اسْتَوَى
إِلَى
السَّمَاء
فَسَوَّاهُنَّ
سَبْعَ
سَمَاوَاتٍ
وَهُوَ
بِكُلِّ
شَيْءٍ
عَلِيمٌ
29. He is the One who created for you what is on Earth, all;
then He settled
toward the heaven - so He leveled
them, seven
heavens and
He is in everything most knowledgeable.
وَإِذْ
قَالَ
رَبُّكَ
لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ
إِنِّي
جَاعِلٌ
فِي
الأَرْضِ
خَلِيفَةً
قَالُواْ
أَتَجْعَلُ
فِيهَا
مَن
يُفْسِدُ
فِيهَا
وَيَسْفِكُ
الدِّمَاء
وَنَحْنُ
نُسَبِّحُ
بِحَمْدِكَ
وَنُقَدِّسُ
لَكَ
قَالَ
إِنِّي
أَعْلَمُ
مَا لاَ
تَعْلَمُونَ
30. And for, said your Lord to the angels, "Assuredly I am
making on Earth a delegate." They said, "Will
you make in it (he) who corrupts in it and sheds blood while we extol in Your
praise and hallow You?" He said, "Assuredly I
know what you know not."
وَعَلَّمَ
آدَمَ
الأَسْمَاء
كُلَّهَا
ثُمَّ
عَرَضَهُمْ
عَلَى
الْمَلاَئِكَةِ
فَقَالَ
أَنبِئُونِي
بِأَسْمَاء
هَـؤُلاء
إِن
كُنتُمْ
صَادِقِينَ
31. And He taught Adam the names, all of them. Then He
presented them to the angels, then said "Apprise Me with
the names of these, if you were ever truthful."
قَالُواْ
سُبْحَانَكَ
لاَ
عِلْمَ
لَنَا
إِلاَّ
مَا
عَلَّمْتَنَا
إِنَّكَ
أَنتَ
الْعَلِيمُ
الْحَكِيمُ
32. They said, "Extolled are You! There is no knowledge for
us except what You taught us, assuredly You are The Most
Knowledgeable, The Most Judicious."
قَالَ
يَا آدَمُ
أَنبِئْهُم
بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ
فَلَمَّا
أَنبَأَهُمْ
بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ
قَالَ
أَلَمْ
أَقُل
لَّكُمْ
إِنِّي
أَعْلَمُ
غَيْبَ
السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالأَرْضِ
وَأَعْلَمُ
مَا
تُبْدُونَ
وَمَا
كُنتُمْ
تَكْتُمُونَ
33. He said, "O Adam, apprise them of their
names." So when he apprised them of their names He
said, "Did I not say to you that I assuredly know the
unseen of the heavens and Earth, and I know what you exhibit and
what you were ever suppressing?"
وَإِذْ
قُلْنَا
لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ
اسْجُدُواْ
لآدَمَ
فَسَجَدُواْ
إِلاَّ
إِبْلِيسَ
أَبَى
وَاسْتَكْبَرَ
وَكَانَ
مِنَ
الْكَافِرِينَ
34. And thus We said to the angels, "Prostrate to
Adam." So they prostrated; except Iblis, he refused and was
arrogant and he was ever from the repudiators.
وَقُلْنَا
يَا آدَمُ
اسْكُنْ
أَنتَ
وَزَوْجُكَ
الْجَنَّةَ
وَكُلاَ
مِنْهَا
رَغَداً
حَيْثُ
شِئْتُمَا
وَلاَ
تَقْرَبَا
هَـذِهِ
الشَّجَرَةَ
فَتَكُونَا
مِنَ
الْظَّالِمِينَ
35. And We said "O Adam dwell, you and your wife, in the
garden and eat from it lavishly wherever you will, and near not
this tree lest you become of the oppressors."
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا
الشَّيْطَانُ
عَنْهَا
فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا
مِمَّا
كَانَا
فِيهِ
وَقُلْنَا
اهْبِطُواْ
بَعْضُكُمْ
لِبَعْضٍ
عَدُوٌّ
وَلَكُمْ
فِي
الأَرْضِ
مُسْتَقَرٌّ
وَمَتَاعٌ
إِلَى
حِينٍ
36. Then made them slip from it did Satan, so he drove them from
what they were in and We said, "Descend; some of you are to
others an enemy, and for you on Earth is a settlement and
pleasure for a while."
فَتَلَقَّى
آدَمُ
مِن
رَّبِّهِ
كَلِمَاتٍ
فَتَابَ
عَلَيْهِ
إِنَّهُ
هُوَ
التَّوَّابُ
الرَّحِيمُ
37. Then received did Adam from his Lord, words, thus He
pardoned him. Assuredly He is The Most Pardoning, The Most
Merciful.
قُلْنَا
اهْبِطُواْ
مِنْهَا
جَمِيعاً
فَإِمَّا
يَأْتِيَنَّكُم
مِّنِّي
هُدًى
فَمَن
تَبِعَ
هُدَايَ
فَلاَ
خَوْفٌ
عَلَيْهِمْ
وَلاَ
هُمْ
يَحْزَنُونَ
38. We said, "Descend from it, all. So when comes to
you from Me guidance, then (for) whoever follows My guidance
(there is) then no fear for them nor do they sadden."
وَالَّذِينَ
كَفَرواْ
وَكَذَّبُواْ
بِآيَاتِنَا
أُولَـئِكَ
أَصْحَابُ
النَّارِ
هُمْ
فِيهَا
خَالِدُونَ
39. And the ones who repudiated and belied Our signs, then these
are the Companions of The Fire, they are in it eternally.
يَا
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
اذْكُرُواْ
نِعْمَتِيَ
الَّتِي
أَنْعَمْتُ
عَلَيْكُمْ
وَأَوْفُواْ
بِعَهْدِي
أُوفِ
بِعَهْدِكُمْ
وَإِيَّايَ
فَارْهَبُونِ
40. O Children of Israel, remember My grant that I granted upon
you and fulfill My pledge, I fulfill your pledge, and Me then
dread.
