بِـسْـمِ
اللهِ
الرَّحـْمـنِ
الرَّحِـيـم
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.
الَرَ
تِلْكَ
آيَاتُ
الْكِتَابِ
وَقُرْآنٍ
مُّبِينٍ
1. Alif Lam Ra: Those are the signs of the writ, and a
manifest Quran.
رُّبَمَا
يَوَدُّ
الَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
لَوْ
كَانُواْ
مُسْلِمِينَ
2. Perchance,
fancy will the ones who repudiated that they were ever Muslims.
ذَرْهُمْ
يَأْكُلُواْ
وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ
وَيُلْهِهِمُ
الأَمَلُ
فَسَوْفَ
يَعْلَمُونَ
3. Leave them, (to) eat and pleasure, while distracts them
does hopefulness; then they will know.
وَمَا
أَهْلَكْنَا
مِن
قَرْيَةٍ
إِلاَّ
وَلَهَا
كِتَابٌ
مَّعْلُومٌ
4. And We destroyed not any village, except (that) unto it was a
known writ.
مَّا
تَسْبِقُ
مِنْ
أُمَّةٍ
أَجَلَهَا
وَمَا
يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
5. Advances not does any nation its postponement, and not are
they delayed.
وَقَالُواْ
يَا
أَيُّهَا
الَّذِي
نُزِّلَ
عَلَيْهِ
الذِّكْرُ
إِنَّكَ
لَمَجْنُونٌ
6. And they said, "O you, the one who descended upon was the remembrance, assuredly you are insane!"
لَّوْ
مَا
تَأْتِينَا
بِالْمَلائِكَةِ
إِن كُنتَ
مِنَ
الصَّادِقِينَ
7. "Would that you bring us the angels, if you are ever from the
truthful."
مَا
نُنَزِّلُ
الْمَلائِكَةَ
إِلاَّ
بِالحَقِّ
وَمَا
كَانُواْ
إِذًا
مُّنظَرِينَ
8. We descend not the angels except with the right; and
not are they then ever reprieved.
إِنَّا
نَحْنُ
نَزَّلْنَا
الذِّكْرَ
وَإِنَّا
لَهُ
لَحَافِظُونَ
9. Assuredly We, Us, descended the remembrance, and assuredly We
are unto it Preservers.
وَلَقَدْ
أَرْسَلْنَا
مِن
قَبْلِكَ
فِي
شِيَعِ
الأَوَّلِينَ
10. And We have truly sent from before you among the sects of
the earlier (ones).
وَمَا
يَأْتِيهِم
مِّن
رَّسُولٍ
إِلاَّ
كَانُواْ
بِهِ
يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
11. And arrives not to them does any messenger but they are ever
of him mocking.
كَذَلِكَ
نَسْلُكُهُ
فِي
قُلُوبِ
الْمُجْرِمِينَ
12. Thus We set it into the cores of the malefactors...
لاَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ
بِهِ
وَقَدْ
خَلَتْ
سُنَّةُ
الأَوَّلِينَ
13. ...not do they have faith in it, and truly bygone is the
course of the earlier (ones).
وَلَوْ
فَتَحْنَا
عَلَيْهِم
بَابًا
مِّنَ
السَّمَاء
فَظَلُّواْ
فِيهِ
يَعْرُجُونَ
14. And if We opened upon them a door from the sky, then they
persisted in it wending...
لَقَالُواْ
إِنَّمَا
سُكِّرَتْ
أَبْصَارُنَا
بَلْ
نَحْنُ
قَوْمٌ
مَّسْحُورُونَ
15. ...they would have said, "In fact, stupefied was our
sight. Rather, we are ensorcelled people."
وَلَقَدْ
جَعَلْنَا
فِي
السَّمَاء
بُرُوجًا
وَزَيَّنَّاهَا
لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
16. And We have truly made in the sky constellations and
decorated it for the onlookers...
وَحَفِظْنَاهَا
مِن كُلِّ
شَيْطَانٍ
رَّجِيمٍ
17. ...and preserved it from every most peltworthy devil...
إِلاَّ
مَنِ
اسْتَرَقَ
السَّمْعَ
فَأَتْبَعَهُ
شِهَابٌ
مُّبِينٌ
18. ...except whoever steals (by) the hearing; so follows him
does a manifest meteor.
وَالأَرْضَ
مَدَدْنَاهَا
وَأَلْقَيْنَا
فِيهَا
رَوَاسِيَ
وَأَنبَتْنَا
فِيهَا
مِن كُلِّ
شَيْءٍ
مَّوْزُونٍ
19. And Earth, We extended it and cast therein fasteners, and
vegetated in it from every balanced thing.
وَجَعَلْنَا
لَكُمْ
فِيهَا
مَعَايِشَ
وَمَن
لَّسْتُمْ
لَهُ
بِرَازِقِينَ
20. And We made in it for you sustenance, and (also for)
whomever you are not unto him provisioners.
