انظُرْ
كَيْفَ
فَضَّلْنَا
بَعْضَهُمْ
عَلَى
بَعْضٍ
وَلَلآخِرَةُ
أَكْبَرُ
دَرَجَاتٍ
وَأَكْبَرُ
تَفْضِيلاً
21. See how We favored some of them over some
(others), and the later (life) is (of) greater degrees and greater
favoring.
لاَّ
تَجْعَل
مَعَ
اللّهِ
إِلَـهًا
آخَرَ
فَتَقْعُدَ
مَذْمُومًا
مَّخْذُولاً
22. Make not with Allah another lord so you sit disparaged,
deserted.
وَقَضَى
رَبُّكَ
أَلاَّ
تَعْبُدُواْ
إِلاَّ
إِيَّاهُ
وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ
إِحْسَانًا
إِمَّا
يَبْلُغَنَّ
عِندَكَ
الْكِبَرَ
أَحَدُهُمَا
أَوْ
كِلاَهُمَا
فَلاَ
تَقُل
لَّهُمَا
أُفٍّ
وَلاَ
تَنْهَرْهُمَا
وَقُل
لَّهُمَا
قَوْلاً
كَرِيمًا
23. And decreed has your Lord that you not worship except Him and
towards the parents be refined. If they reach upon you
to old age, one of them or both, then say not to them "Oof!"
and scold them not; and say to them gracious speech.
وَاخْفِضْ
لَهُمَا
جَنَاحَ
الذُّلِّ
مِنَ
الرَّحْمَةِ
وَقُل
رَّبِّ
ارْحَمْهُمَا
كَمَا
رَبَّيَانِي
صَغِيرًا
24. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy, and say
"Lord, mercy them as they reared me (when)
small."
رَّبُّكُمْ
أَعْلَمُ
بِمَا
فِي
نُفُوسِكُمْ
إِن
تَكُونُواْ
صَالِحِينَ
فَإِنَّهُ
كَانَ
لِلأَوَّابِينَ
غَفُورًا
25. Your Lord is most knowledgeable of what is inside your
selves. If you were to be righteous then He is ever, to
the penitent, forgiving.
وَآتِ
ذَا
الْقُرْبَى
حَقَّهُ
وَالْمِسْكِينَ
وَابْنَ
السَّبِيلِ
وَلاَ
تُبَذِّرْ
تَبْذِيرًا
26. And give the relative his right, and the needy, and the son
of the way (the traveler) and squander not, squandering!
إِنَّ
الْمُبَذِّرِينَ
كَانُواْ
إِخْوَانَ
الشَّيَاطِينِ
وَكَانَ
الشَّيْطَانُ
لِرَبِّهِ
كَفُورًا
27. Assuredly the squanderers are ever the brethren of the devils and
Satan is ever to his Lord a repudiator.
وَإِمَّا
تُعْرِضَنَّ
عَنْهُمُ
ابْتِغَاء
رَحْمَةٍ
مِّن
رَّبِّكَ
تَرْجُوهَا
فَقُل
لَّهُمْ
قَوْلاً
مَّيْسُورًا
28. And if you avert from them seeking mercy from your Lord,
(which) you aspire to, then say to them easy speech.
وَلاَ
تَجْعَلْ
يَدَكَ
مَغْلُولَةً
إِلَى
عُنُقِكَ
وَلاَ
تَبْسُطْهَا
كُلَّ
الْبَسْطِ
فَتَقْعُدَ
مَلُومًا
مَّحْسُورًا
29. And make not your hand shackled to your neck and expand it
not all of the expansion so you sit blamed, disappointed weary.
إِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
يَبْسُطُ
الرِّزْقَ
لِمَن
يَشَاء
وَيَقْدِرُ
إِنَّهُ
كَانَ
بِعِبَادِهِ
خَبِيرًا
بَصِيرًا
30. Assuredly your Lord expands the provision to whoever He
wills and He restricts; assuredly He is ever of His slaves
most-informed, most sighted.
وَلاَ
تَقْتُلُواْ
أَوْلادَكُمْ
خَشْيَةَ
إِمْلاقٍ
نَّحْنُ
نَرْزُقُهُمْ
وَإِيَّاكُم
إنَّ
قَتْلَهُمْ
كَانَ
خِطْءًا
كَبِيرًا
31. And kill not your children for fear of destitution, We
provision them and you; assuredly killing them is ever a
great wrong.
وَلاَ
تَقْرَبُواْ
الزِّنَى
إِنَّهُ
كَانَ
فَاحِشَةً
وَسَاء
سَبِيلاً
32. And near not fornication, assuredly it is ever an offense and
an ill way.
وَلاَ
تَقْتُلُواْ
النَّفْسَ
الَّتِي
حَرَّمَ
اللّهُ
إِلاَّ
بِالحَقِّ
وَمَن
قُتِلَ
مَظْلُومًا
فَقَدْ
جَعَلْنَا
لِوَلِيِّهِ
سُلْطَانًا
فَلاَ
يُسْرِف
فِّي
الْقَتْلِ
إِنَّهُ
كَانَ
مَنْصُورًا
33.
And kill not the soul that Allah sanctified, except with the
right. And whoever is killed, oppressed, then We have
truly made for his trustee authority so he exceeds not in the killing; assuredly he
is ever made victorious.
وَلاَ
تَقْرَبُواْ
مَالَ
الْيَتِيمِ
إِلاَّ
بِالَّتِي
هِيَ
أَحْسَنُ
حَتَّى
يَبْلُغَ
أَشُدَّهُ
وَأَوْفُواْ
بِالْعَهْدِ
إِنَّ
الْعَهْدَ
كَانَ
مَسْؤُولاً
34. And near not the orphan's wealth except with that which is
best until he reaches his vigor; and fulfill the pledge, assuredly, (of) the pledge
(you) will be ever questioned.
وَأَوْفُوا
الْكَيْلَ
إِذا
كِلْتُمْ
وَزِنُواْ
بِالقِسْطَاسِ
الْمُسْتَقِيمِ
ذَلِكَ
خَيْرٌ
وَأَحْسَنُ
تَأْوِيلاً
35. And fulfill the measure if you measure, and weigh with a straight
scale; that is goodness and a better resolution.
وَلاَ
تَقْفُ
مَا
لَيْسَ
لَكَ
بِهِ
عِلْمٌ
إِنَّ
السَّمْعَ
وَالْبَصَرَ
وَالْفُؤَادَ
كُلُّ
أُولـئِكَ
كَانَ
عَنْهُ
مَسْؤُولاً
36. And trail not what you have no knowledge of; assuredly
the hearing and the sight and the heart, all these, he is ever
of them questioned.
وَلاَ
تَمْشِ
فِي
الأَرْضِ
مَرَحًا
إِنَّكَ
لَن
تَخْرِقَ
الأَرْضَ
وَلَن
تَبْلُغَ
الْجِبَالَ
طُولاً
37. And walk not on Earth gleefully, assuredly you will not rive
Earth and you will not reach the mountains in
height.
كُلُّ
ذَلِكَ
كَانَ
سَيٍّئُهُ
عِنْدَ
رَبِّكَ
مَكْرُوهًا
38. All this, its ill, is ever to your Lord hateful.
ذَلِكَ
مِمَّا
أَوْحَى
إِلَيْكَ
رَبُّكَ
مِنَ
الْحِكْمَةِ
وَلاَ
تَجْعَلْ
مَعَ
اللّهِ
إِلَهًا
آخَرَ
فَتُلْقَى
فِي
جَهَنَّمَ
مَلُومًا
مَّدْحُورًا
39. This is from what your Lord inspired to you from the wisdom,
and make not with Allah another lord so you are cast into Hell blamed, vanquished.
أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ
رَبُّكُم
بِالْبَنِينَ
وَاتَّخَذَ
مِنَ
الْمَلآئِكَةِ
إِنَاثًا
إِنَّكُمْ
لَتَقُولُونَ
قَوْلاً
عَظِيمًا
40. Has your Lord selected you for sons and taken from the
angels females? Assuredly you are saying a grand
utterance.
