Al-Israa:
The Night Journey
or Bani Isra-il: Children of Israel |
سورة
الإسراء |
|
 |
وَلَقَدْ
آتَيْنَا
مُوسَى
تِسْعَ
آيَاتٍ
بَيِّنَاتٍ
فَاسْأَلْ
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
إِذْ
جَاءهُمْ
فَقَالَ
لَهُ
فِرْعَونُ
إِنِّي
لَأَظُنُّكَ
يَا
مُوسَى
مَسْحُورًا
101. And We have truly provided Moses nine manifest signs, so ask the
Children of Israel (about) when he came to them; then said Pharaoh to him,
"Assuredly I surmise you, O Moses, are ensorcelled."
قَالَ
لَقَدْ
عَلِمْتَ
مَا
أَنزَلَ
هَـؤُلاء
إِلاَّ
رَبُّ
السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالأَرْضِ
بَصَآئِرَ
وَإِنِّي
لَأَظُنُّكَ
يَا
فِرْعَونُ
مَثْبُورًا
102. He said, "You have truly known no one descended those but the Lord of the heavens and Earth,
evident (signs), and assuredly I
surmise you, O Pharaoh, are self-destructive."
فَأَرَادَ
أَن
يَسْتَفِزَّهُم
مِّنَ
الأَرْضِ
فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُ
وَمَن
مَّعَهُ
جَمِيعًا
103. Then he wanted to intimidate them from the land so We
drowned him and whoever was with him, all.
وَقُلْنَا
مِن
بَعْدِهِ
لِبَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
اسْكُنُواْ
الأَرْضَ
فَإِذَا
جَاء
وَعْدُ
الآخِرَةِ
جِئْنَا
بِكُمْ
لَفِيفًا
104. And We said after him to the Children of Israel,
"Inhabit the land. Then, when comes the promise of
the later (life), We bring you assembled."
وَبِالْحَقِّ
أَنزَلْنَاهُ
وَبِالْحَقِّ
نَزَلَ
وَمَا
أَرْسَلْنَاكَ
إِلاَّ
مُبَشِّرًا
وَنَذِيرًا
105. And in the right We descended it, and with the right it
descended; and We have not sent you but as a herald of glad
tidings and a warner.
وَقُرْآناً
فَرَقْنَاهُ
لِتَقْرَأَهُ
عَلَى
النَّاسِ
عَلَى
مُكْثٍ
وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ
تَنزِيلاً
106. And (it is) a Qur'an We have partitioned so that you read to
the people with deliberation; and We have descended it, descending!
قُلْ
آمِنُواْ
بِهِ
أَوْ لاَ
تُؤْمِنُواْ
إِنَّ
الَّذِينَ
أُوتُواْ
الْعِلْمَ
مِن
قَبْلِهِ
إِذَا
يُتْلَى
عَلَيْهِمْ
يَخِرُّونَ
لِلأَذْقَانِ
سُجَّدًا
107. Say:
“Have faith in it or have not faith, assuredly those who were
provided the knowledge from before it, when it is read to them,
they collapse to the chins, prostrating.
وَيَقُولُونَ
سُبْحَانَ
رَبِّنَا
إِن
كَانَ
وَعْدُ
رَبِّنَا
لَمَفْعُولاً
108. And
they say, “Extolled is our Lord, for our Lord’s promise is ever
done.”
وَيَخِرُّونَ
لِلأَذْقَانِ
يَبْكُونَ
وَيَزِيدُهُمْ
خُشُوعًا
109. And
they collapse to the chins, weeping, and it increases them in
deference. {Perform
prostration}
قُلِ
ادْعُواْ
اللّهَ
أَوِ
ادْعُواْ
الرَّحْمَـنَ
أَيًّا
مَّا
تَدْعُواْ
فَلَهُ
الأَسْمَاء
الْحُسْنَى
وَلاَ
تَجْهَرْ
بِصَلاَتِكَ
وَلاَ
تُخَافِتْ
بِهَا
وَابْتَغِ
بَيْنَ
ذَلِكَ
سَبِيلاً
110. Say:
“Call Allah or call Ar-Rahman, either one you (can) call, for
to Him are the finest names; and neither reveal in your prayers
nor whisper, and seek between these a way.”
وَقُلِ
الْحَمْدُ
لِلّهِ
الَّذِي
لَمْ
يَتَّخِذْ
وَلَدًا
وَلَم
يَكُن
لَّهُ
شَرِيكٌ
فِي
الْمُلْكِ
وَلَمْ
يَكُن
لَّهُ
وَلِيٌّ
مِّنَ
الذُّلَّ
وَكَبِّرْهُ
تَكْبِيرًا
111. And
say: “Praise be to Allah, the One who took not a child, and
there is not unto Him an associate in the dominion, and there is
not unto Him a trustee out of humiliation; and magnify Him,
magnifying!”
