قَالَ
لَهُم
مُّوسَى
وَيْلَكُمْ
لَا
تَفْتَرُوا
عَلَى
اللَّهِ
كَذِبًا
فَيُسْحِتَكُمْ
بِعَذَابٍ
وَقَدْ
خَابَ
مَنِ
افْتَرَى
61. Moses said to them "Woe to you, contrive not against Allah
lies so He will annihilate you with torment; and he has truly failed, whoever contrives."
فَتَنَازَعُوا
أَمْرَهُم
بَيْنَهُمْ
وَأَسَرُّوا
النَّجْوَى
62.
So they disputed their affair among themselves and concealed
the communion.
قَالُوا
إِنْ
هَذَانِ
لَسَاحِرَانِ
يُرِيدَانِ
أَن
يُخْرِجَاكُم
مِّنْ
أَرْضِكُم
بِسِحْرِهِمَا
وَيَذْهَبَا
بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ
الْمُثْلَى
63.
They said, "Indeed, these are but two sorcerers who want to
evict you from your land with their sorcery and eliminate your exemplary way."
فَأَجْمِعُوا
كَيْدَكُمْ
ثُمَّ
ائْتُوا
صَفًّا
وَقَدْ
أَفْلَحَ
الْيَوْمَ
مَنِ
اسْتَعْلَى
64.
"So gather your guile then arrive in a row; and he has truly prospered today, whoever surmounts."
قَالُوا
يَا
مُوسَى
إِمَّا
أَن
تُلْقِيَ
وَإِمَّا
أَن
نَّكُونَ
أَوَّلَ
مَنْ
أَلْقَى
65. They said, "O Moses, either you cast or we will be the
first who cast."
قَالَ
بَلْ
أَلْقُوا
فَإِذَا
حِبَالُهُمْ
وَعِصِيُّهُمْ
يُخَيَّلُ
إِلَيْهِ
مِن
سِحْرِهِمْ
أَنَّهَا
تَسْعَى
66.
He said, "Rather, you cast." So then their ropes
and sticks seemed to him, from their sorcery, that they were pursuing.
فَأَوْجَسَ
فِي
نَفْسِهِ
خِيفَةً
مُّوسَى
67. So he harbored in himself fear, Moses.
قُلْنَا
لَا
تَخَفْ
إِنَّكَ
أَنتَ
الْأَعْلَى
68.
We said, "Fear not, assuredly you are the highest."
وَأَلْقِ
مَا فِي
يَمِينِكَ
تَلْقَفْ
مَا
صَنَعُوا
إِنَّمَا
صَنَعُوا
كَيْدُ
سَاحِرٍ
وَلَا
يُفْلِحُ
السَّاحِرُ
حَيْثُ
أَتَى
69.
"And cast what is in your right, it snaps up what
they produced. In fact, they produced only sorcerer's
guile and the sorcerer prospers not (from) where he approaches."
فَأُلْقِيَ
السَّحَرَةُ
سُجَّدًا
قَالُوا
آمَنَّا
بِرَبِّ
هَارُونَ
وَمُوسَى
70.
So fell did the sorcerers prostrating; they
said, "We have faith in the Lord of Aaron and Moses."
قَالَ
آمَنتُمْ
لَهُ
قَبْلَ
أَنْ
آذَنَ
لَكُمْ
إِنَّهُ
لَكَبِيرُكُمُ
الَّذِي
عَلَّمَكُمُ
السِّحْرَ
فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ
أَيْدِيَكُمْ
وَأَرْجُلَكُم
مِّنْ
خِلَافٍ
وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ
فِي
جُذُوعِ
النَّخْلِ
وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ
أَيُّنَا
أَشَدُّ
عَذَابًا
وَأَبْقَى
71.
He said, "You have faith for him, before I permit you?
Assuredly he is your elder who taught
you the sorcery, so I will surely sever your hands and your legs from
different (sides) and I will surely crucify you to the trunks
of palms; and surely you will know which of us has more
vigorous torture and is more lasting."
قَالُوا
لَن
نُّؤْثِرَكَ
عَلَى
مَا
جَاءنَا
مِنَ
الْبَيِّنَاتِ
وَالَّذِي
فَطَرَنَا
فَاقْضِ
مَا
أَنتَ
قَاضٍ
إِنَّمَا
تَقْضِي
هَذِهِ
الْحَيَاةَ
الدُّنْيَا
72. They said, "We will not prefer you over what we have
received of manifestations, by the One Who has created us!
So decree whatever you decree, in fact you decree but (in) this worldly
life."
إِنَّا
آمَنَّا
بِرَبِّنَا
لِيَغْفِرَ
لَنَا
خَطَايَانَا
وَمَا
أَكْرَهْتَنَا
عَلَيْهِ
مِنَ
السِّحْرِ
وَاللَّهُ
خَيْرٌ
وَأَبْقَى
73.
"Assuredly we have faith in our Lord so that He forgives for
us our wrongs, and whatever you have forced us (to do) of
sorcery; and Allah is
better and is everlasting."
إِنَّهُ
مَن
يَأْتِ
رَبَّهُ
مُجْرِمًا
فَإِنَّ
لَهُ
جَهَنَّمَ
لَا
يَمُوتُ
فِيهَا
وَلَا
يَحْيى
74.
"Assuredly whoever arrives to his Lord a malefactor,
it
is for him Hell; (he) dies not in it, nor lives."
وَمَنْ
يَأْتِهِ
مُؤْمِنًا
قَدْ
عَمِلَ
الصَّالِحَاتِ
فَأُوْلَئِكَ
لَهُمُ
الدَّرَجَاتُ
الْعُلَى
75.
"And whoever arrives to Him faithful has truly performed righteous deeds; so those, to them are the highest degrees."
جَنَّاتُ
عَدْنٍ
تَجْرِي
مِن
تَحْتِهَا
الْأَنْهَارُ
خَالِدِينَ
فِيهَا
وَذَلِكَ
جَزَاء
مَن
تَزَكَّى
76.
"Gardens of Eden, running beneath them are rivers, they are
eternally in them; and such is the recompense of whoever
ameliorates."
وَلَقَدْ
أَوْحَيْنَا
إِلَى
مُوسَى
أَنْ
أَسْرِ
بِعِبَادِي
فَاضْرِبْ
لَهُمْ
طَرِيقًا
فِي
الْبَحْرِ
يَبَسًا
لَّا
تَخَافُ
دَرَكًا
وَلَا
تَخْشَى
77. And We have truly inspired Moses
thus; "Journey by night with my slaves,
then strike for them into the sea a dry path; fear not approximation,
and worry not."
فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ
فِرْعَوْنُ
بِجُنُودِهِ
فَغَشِيَهُم
مِّنَ
الْيَمِّ
مَا
غَشِيَهُمْ
78. So Pharaoh followed them with his troops; so covered were they by the waters,
those that covered them.
وَأَضَلَّ
فِرْعَوْنُ
قَوْمَهُ
وَمَا
هَدَى
79.
And deviated his people did Pharaoh,
and not did he guide.
يَا
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
قَدْ
أَنجَيْنَاكُم
مِّنْ
عَدُوِّكُمْ
وَوَاعَدْنَاكُمْ
جَانِبَ
الطُّورِ
الْأَيْمَنَ
وَنَزَّلْنَا
عَلَيْكُمُ
الْمَنَّ
وَالسَّلْوَى
80. O
Children of Israel, We have truly saved you from your enemy and engaged you (at) the right side of At-Tur and descended upon you the
Manna
and Salwa.
