كُلُوا مِن طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا فِيهِ فَيَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبِي وَمَن يَحْلِلْ عَلَيْهِ غَضَبِي فَقَدْ هَوَى
81. Eat from the niceties of what We provisioned you and do not tyrannize in it lest upon you alights My anger; and whoever alights upon him does My anger has truly plummeted. 

وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِّمَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى
82. And assuredly I am Most Forgiving to whoever repented and had faith and performed righteousness, then became guided.

وَمَا أَعْجَلَكَ عَن قَوْمِكَ يَا مُوسَى
83. "And what hastened you from your people, O Moses?"

قَالَ هُمْ أُولَاء عَلَى أَثَرِي وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَى
84. He said, "There they are on my track, and I hastened to You my Lord so that you be contented."

قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِن بَعْدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ السَّامِرِيُّ
85. He said "So then, assuredly We have truly tested your people after you (left) and the Samerite deviated them."

فَرَجَعَ مُوسَى إِلَى قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَهْدُ أَمْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُم مَّوْعِدِي
86. So he returned, Moses, to his people angry, sorrowful.  He said, "O my people, did your Lord not promise you a fine promise?  Has it been too long on you, the duration? Or you wanted to alight upon you the anger of your Lord, so you backed-out (of) my engagement?

قَالُوا مَا أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَا أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَاهَا فَكَذَلِكَ أَلْقَى السَّامِرِيُّ
87.  They said "Not have we backed-out (of) your engagement (with us) on our own, but we were made to carry sins from the decorations of the people so we hurled them, thus cast did the Samerite." 

فَأَخْرَجَ لَهُمْ عِجْلًا جَسَدًا لَهُ خُوَارٌ فَقَالُوا هَذَا إِلَهُكُمْ وَإِلَهُ مُوسَى فَنَسِيَ
88. So he issued for them a calf's figure that had a low.  So they said, "This is your god and the god of Moses, yet he forgot."

أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَلَّا يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَوْلًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا
89. Do they not see that it returns not to them speech and owns not for them harm nor benefit?

وَلَقَدْ قَالَ لَهُمْ هَارُونُ مِن قَبْلُ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُم بِهِ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ فَاتَّبِعُونِي وَأَطِيعُوا أَمْرِي
90. And Aaron has truly told them before "O my people, in fact you have been tested by it and your Lord is Ar-Rahman, so follow me and obey my order."

قَالُوا لَن نَّبْرَحَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفِينَ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْنَا مُوسَى
91. They said "We will not depart (from) huddling to it until he returns to us, Moses."

قَالَ يَا هَارُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَهُمْ ضَلُّوا
92. He said, "O Aaron, what prevented you when you saw them deviated..."

أَلَّا تَتَّبِعَنِ أَفَعَصَيْتَ أَمْرِي
93. "...that you did not follow me?  Did you disobey my order?"

قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أُمَّ لَا تَأْخُذْ بِلِحْيَتِي وَلَا بِرَأْسِي إِنِّي خَشِيتُ أَن تَقُولَ فَرَّقْتَ بَيْنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِي
94. He said, "O son of my mother, grab not my beard nor my head.  I worried that you say: You partitioned between the Children of Israel and did not observe my speech."

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَا سَامِرِيُّ
95. He said, "What's up with you O Samerite?"

قَالَ بَصُرْتُ بِمَا لَمْ يَبْصُرُوا بِهِ فَقَبَضْتُ قَبْضَةً مِّنْ أَثَرِ الرَّسُولِ فَنَبَذْتُهَا وَكَذَلِكَ سَوَّلَتْ لِي نَفْسِي
96. He said, "I sighted what they did not sight, so I grabbed a fistful from the track of the messenger then I flung it, and thus my self lured me.

قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّنْ تُخْلَفَهُ وَانظُرْ إِلَى إِلَهِكَ الَّذِي ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفًا لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُ ثُمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُ فِي الْيَمِّ نَسْفًا
97. He said, "Then go, and assuredly for you in this life (it is) that you say 'No Touching.'  And assuredly for you is an engagement that you will not back-out of.  And look at your god that you have continued huddling to, surely we will torch it, then surely we will blast it into the waters, blasting!"

إِنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا
98. "In fact, your God is Allah, He who (there is) no god except Him; capacious is He of everything with knowledge."

كَذَلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاء مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ وَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًا
99. Like this, We relate to you from the news of what has truly been in advance and We have provided you, from Our vicinity, remembrance.

مَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وِزْرًا
100. Whoever averts from it, assuredly he carries on the Day of Rising sins.
