بِـسْـمِ اللهِ الرَّحـْمـنِ الرَّحِـيـم
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.

تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَالَمِينَ نَذِيرًا
1. Blessed is the One who descended the Partition upon His slave to be unto the worlds a warner.

الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا
2. The One who unto Him is the dominion of the heavens and Earth, and never did He take a son, and never was there unto Him any associate in the dominion; and He created everything then He evaluated it, evaluating!

وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لَّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَاةً وَلَا نُشُورًا
3. And they took outside of Him gods who create not anything and they are created, and they own not for themselves harm nor benefit, and they own not death nor life, nor display.

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ افْتَرَاهُ وَأَعَانَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ آخَرُونَ فَقَدْ جَاؤُوا ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا
4. And said the ones who repudiated, "Indeed, this is but a hoax he contrived and assisted him upon it did other people."  Thus they have truly brought oppression and fakery.

وَقَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمْلَى عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
5. And they said, "The legends of the earlier ones, he has rewritten them.  So, it is dictated upon him in the early morning and late afternoon."

قُلْ أَنزَلَهُ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
6. Say: "Descended it did the One who knows the concealed in the heavens and Earth, assuredly He is ever most forgiving, most merciful."

وَقَالُوا مَالِ هَذَا الرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِي فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُ نَذِيرًا
7. And they said, "What is with this prophet?  He eats food and he walks in the markets; if only descended to him did an angel to be with him a warner..."

أَوْ يُلْقَى إِلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ الظَّالِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَّسْحُورًا
8. "...or cast unto him is a treasure, or becomes for him does a garden he eats from."  And said the oppressors, "Indeed you follow but an ensorcelled man."

انظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا لَكَ الْأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّوا فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًا
9. Look how they struck unto to the similes, thus they deviated so they cannot (have) a way.

تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي إِن شَاء جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًا مِّن ذَلِكَ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَيَجْعَل لَّكَ قُصُورًا
10. Blessed is the One who, if He willed, would make for you better than that, gardens running from beneath them rivers, and make for you palaces.

بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالسَّاعَةِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِالسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا
11. Rather, they belied in The Hour and We have prepared for whoever belied in The Hour a blaze.

إِذَا رَأَتْهُم مِّن مَّكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُوا لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا
12. When it sees them from a far place, they hear from it rage and exhalation.

وَإِذَا أُلْقُوا مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْا هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًا
13. And when they are cast into it, a tight place, conjoined, they call therein (for) self-destruction.

لَا تَدْعُوا الْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَاحِدًا وَادْعُوا ثُبُورًا كَثِيراً
14. "Call not today for one self-destruction, yet call for an abundance of self-destruction!"

قُلْ أَذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ الْخُلْدِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَاء وَمَصِيرًا
15. Say: "Is this better or the Garden of Eternity, the one the venerators were promised?  It is ever for them a recompense and a destination."

لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاؤُونَ خَالِدِينَ كَانَ عَلَى رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَسْؤُولًا
16. For them in it is what they will, eternally; it was ever upon your Lord a requested promise.

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ أَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِي هَؤُلَاء أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا السَّبِيلَ
17. And The Day He masses them and what they worship outside of Allah, then says: "Are you who deviated My slaves, those, or was it they who deviated (from) the way?"

قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنبَغِي لَنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاء وَلَكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءهُمْ حَتَّى نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا
18. They said, "Extolled are You!  Not was it befitting for us that we take outside of You any trustees.  But You pleasured them and their fathers until they forgot the remembrance, and they were a desolate people."

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًا وَمَن يَظْلِم مِّنكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا
19. "So, they have truly belied you in what you¹ are saying, thus never can you have redirection nor victory."  And whoever oppresses from you, We make him taste a great torment.

وَما أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا
20. And We sent naught before you from the messengers except that they surely did eat food and walk in the markets.  And We made some of you unto others (as) a test; are you going to be patient?  And your Lord is ever most sighted.
