أَوْفُوا
الْكَيْلَ
وَلَا
تَكُونُوا
مِنَ
الْمُخْسِرِينَ
181. "Fulfill the measure and be not from those
causing loss."
وَزِنُوا
بِالْقِسْطَاسِ
الْمُسْتَقِيمِ
182. "And weigh with a straight scale."
وَلَا
تَبْخَسُوا
النَّاسَ
أَشْيَاءهُمْ
وَلَا
تَعْثَوْا
فِي
الْأَرْضِ
مُفْسِدِينَ
183. "And depreciate not for people, their things; and
ravage not on Earth, corrupting."
وَاتَّقُوا
الَّذِي
خَلَقَكُمْ
وَالْجِبِلَّةَ
الْأَوَّلِينَ
184. "And venerate the One who created you and the earlier
entities."
قَالُوا
إِنَّمَا
أَنتَ
مِنَ
الْمُسَحَّرِينَ
185. They said, "In fact, you are from the ensorcelled."
وَمَا
أَنتَ
إِلَّا
بَشَرٌ
مِّثْلُنَا
وَإِن
نَّظُنُّكَ
لَمِنَ
الْكَاذِبِينَ
186. "And you are naught but a human similar to us; and indeed, we surmise you to be surely from the liars."
فَأَسْقِطْ
عَلَيْنَا
كِسَفًا
مِّنَ
السَّمَاء
إِن كُنتَ
مِنَ
الصَّادِقِينَ
187. "So drop upon us pieces from the sky, if you are ever
from the truthful."
قَالَ
رَبِّي
أَعْلَمُ
بِمَا
تَعْمَلُونَ
188. He said, "My Lord is most knowledgeable in what you
perform."
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
فَأَخَذَهُمْ
عَذَابُ
يَوْمِ
الظُّلَّةِ
إِنَّهُ
كَانَ
عَذَابَ
يَوْمٍ
عَظِيمٍ
189. So they belied him, thus took them did the torment of the
Day of Shade; assuredly it was ever the torment of a grand day.
إِنَّ
فِي
ذَلِكَ
لَآيَةً
وَمَا
كَانَ
أَكْثَرُهُم
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
190. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful.
وَإِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
لَهُوَ
الْعَزِيزُ
الرَّحِيمُ
191. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful.
وَإِنَّهُ
لَتَنزِيلُ
رَبِّ
الْعَالَمِينَ
192. And assuredly it is the descension of the Lord of the
worlds.
نَزَلَ
بِهِ
الرُّوحُ
الْأَمِينُ
193. Descended with it did the Trusted Spirit...
عَلَى
قَلْبِكَ
لِتَكُونَ
مِنَ
الْمُنذِرِينَ
194. ...upon your heart for you to be from the warners...
بِلِسَانٍ
عَرَبِيٍّ
مُّبِينٍ
195. ...in a manifest Arabic tongue.
وَإِنَّهُ
لَفِي
زُبُرِ
الْأَوَّلِينَ
196. And assuredly it is surely in the earlier codices.
أَوَلَمْ
يَكُن
لَّهُمْ
آيَةً
أَن
يَعْلَمَهُ
عُلَمَاء
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
197. Was it not unto them a sign that knew it did the scholars
of the Children of Israel?
وَلَوْ
نَزَّلْنَاهُ
عَلَى
بَعْضِ
الْأَعْجَمِينَ
198. And if We descended it upon some (one) of the
non-natives...
فَقَرَأَهُ
عَلَيْهِم
مَّا
كَانُوا
بِهِ
مُؤْمِنِينَ
199. ...then he read it unto them, they would not ever be in it
faithful.
كَذَلِكَ
سَلَكْنَاهُ
فِي
قُلُوبِ
الْمُجْرِمِينَ
200. Thus, We set it into the cores of the malefactors...
لَا
يُؤْمِنُونَ
بِهِ
حَتَّى
يَرَوُا
الْعَذَابَ
الْأَلِيمَ
201. ...not will they have faith in it until they see the
painful torment.
