فَفَرَرْتُ
مِنكُمْ
لَمَّا
خِفْتُكُمْ
فَوَهَبَ
لِي
رَبِّي
حُكْمًا
وَجَعَلَنِي
مِنَ
الْمُرْسَلِينَ
21. "Then I fled from you when I feared you; so
bestowed upon me did my Lord judiciousness, and He made me from
the messengers."
وَتِلْكَ
نِعْمَةٌ
تَمُنُّهَا
عَلَيَّ
أَنْ
عَبَّدتَّ
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
22. "And this is a favor that you oblige me with, that
you enslaved the Children of Israel?"
قَالَ
فِرْعَوْنُ
وَمَا
رَبُّ
الْعَالَمِينَ
23. Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the
worlds?"
قَالَ
رَبُّ
السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالْأَرْضِ
وَمَا
بَيْنَهُمَا
إن
كُنتُم
مُّوقِنِينَ
24. He said, "The Lord of the heavens and Earth and what is
between them, if you were ever certain."
قَالَ
لِمَنْ
حَوْلَهُ
أَلَا
تَسْتَمِعُونَ
25. He said to whoever was around him, "Do you not
hear!?"
قَالَ
رَبُّكُمْ
وَرَبُّ
آبَائِكُمُ
الْأَوَّلِينَ
26. He said, "Your Lord, and the Lord of your earlier
fathers."
قَالَ
إِنَّ
رَسُولَكُمُ
الَّذِي
أُرْسِلَ
إِلَيْكُمْ
لَمَجْنُونٌ
27. He said, "Assuredly your messenger, the one that was
sent to you, is insane!"
قَالَ
رَبُّ
الْمَشْرِقِ
وَالْمَغْرِبِ
وَمَا
بَيْنَهُمَا
إِن
كُنتُمْ
تَعْقِلُونَ
28. He said, "The Lord of the East and the West and what is
between them, if you are ever mindful."
قَالَ
لَئِنِ
اتَّخَذْتَ
إِلَهًا
غَيْرِي
لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ
مِنَ
الْمَسْجُونِينَ
29. He said, "Surely, if you take a god outside of me, I
will surely make you from the imprisoned."
قَالَ
أَوَلَوْ
جِئْتُكَ
بِشَيْءٍ
مُّبِينٍ
30. He said, "Even if I bring to you a manifest
thing?"
قَالَ
فَأْتِ
بِهِ إِن
كُنتَ
مِنَ
الصَّادِقِينَ
31. He said, "Then bring it, if you are ever from the
truthful."
فَأَلْقَى
عَصَاهُ
فَإِذَا
هِيَ
ثُعْبَانٌ
مُّبِينٌ
32. So he cast his stick; thus it was a snake, manifest.
وَنَزَعَ
يَدَهُ
فَإِذَا
هِيَ
بَيْضَاء
لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
33. And he pulled out his hand; thus it was white unto the
onlookers.
قَالَ
لِلْمَلَإِ
حَوْلَهُ
إِنَّ
هَذَا
لَسَاحِرٌ
عَلِيمٌ
34. He said to the crowd around him, "Assuredly this is a
most knowledgeable sorcerer."
يُرِيدُ
أَن
يُخْرِجَكُم
مِّنْ
أَرْضِكُم
بِسِحْرِهِ
فَمَاذَا
تَأْمُرُونَ
35. "He wants to evict you from your land with his sorcery, so what would you
order?"
قَالُوا
أَرْجِهِ
وَأَخَاهُ
وَابْعَثْ
فِي
الْمَدَائِنِ
حَاشِرِينَ
36. They said, "Stall him and his brother, and dispatch
into the city, massers."
يَأْتُوكَ
بِكُلِّ
سَحَّارٍ
عَلِيمٍ
37. "They will bring you every most sorcerous, most
knowledgeable (one)."
فَجُمِعَ
السَّحَرَةُ
لِمِيقَاتِ
يَوْمٍ
مَّعْلُومٍ
38. So gathered were the sorcerers to the appointment of a day
known.
وَقِيلَ
لِلنَّاسِ
هَلْ
أَنتُم
مُّجْتَمِعُونَ
39. And it was said to the humanity, "Are you
gathered?"
لَعَلَّنَا
نَتَّبِعُ
السَّحَرَةَ
إِن
كَانُوا
هُمُ
الْغَالِبِينَ
40. "Perhaps we will follow the sorcerers if they are ever,
them, the conquerors."
