بِـسْـمِ اللهِ الرَّحـْمـنِ الرَّحِـيـم
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.

طسم
1. Ta Seen Meem

تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
2. Those are the signs of the manifest writ.

لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
3. Perhaps you are aggrieving yourself that they will not be faithful.

إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّن السَّمَاء آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ
4. If We willed, We would descend upon them from the sky a sign, so persist would their necks unto it in acquiescence. 

وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ
5. And arrives not to them does any remembrance from The All Merciful, refreshed, except they are ever from it averting.

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاء مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون
6. For they have truly belied, thus it will arrive to them, the news of what they were ever in it mocking.

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ
7. Did they not see Earth, how much We vegetated therein from every gracious pair?

إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
8. Assuredly in that is a sign, and not were the abundance of them faithful.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
9. And assuredly your Lord is surely He, The Esteemed, The Most Merciful.

وَإِذْ نَادَى رَبُّكَ مُوسَى أَنِ ائْتِ الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
10. And for, cried did your Lord unto Moses thus: "Approach the oppressing people..."

قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ
11. "...the people of Pharaoh.  Do they venerate not?

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ
12. He said, "My Lord, assuredly I fear that they will belie me."

وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِي وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِي فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَى هَارُونَ
13. "And tightens does my chest, and not does my tongue take off, so send for Aaron."

وَلَهُمْ عَلَيَّ ذَنبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ
14. "And for them upon me is guilt, so I fear they will kill me."

قَالَ كَلَّا فَاذْهَبَا بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ
15. He said, "Nay!  So go, you both, with Our signs; assuredly We are with you, listening."

فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُولَا إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
16. "So approach Pharaoh, then say: Assuredly we are the messenger of the Lord of the worlds."

أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
17. "Thus, send with us the Children of Israel."

قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ
18. He said, "Did we not rear you among us as a newborn?  And you subsisted among us, from your lifetime, years."

وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ وَأَنتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ
19. "And you did your doing that you did, and you are from the repudiators."

قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَا إِذًا وَأَنَا مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ
20. He said, "I did it then, and I was from the deviated."
