بِـسْـمِ اللهِ الرَّحـْمـنِ الرَّحِـيـمِِ
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.

الم
1. Alif Lam Meem

تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
2. The decension of the writ, no suspicion in it, is from the Lord of the worlds.

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أَتَاهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
3. Or, do they say he contrived it?  Rather, it is The Right from your Lord to warn a people (who) arrived not to them did a warner from before you so they might be guided. 

اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
4. Allah is the One who created the heavens and Earth and what is between them in six days, then He settled on the throne.  Not for you, outside of Him, is any trustee nor intercessor; do you not remember?

يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاء إِلَى الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ
5. He attends to the affair from the heavens to Earth, then it wends to Him in a day whose value was ever one thousand years of how you number.

ذَلِكَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
6. Such is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Al-Aziz, Ar-Raheem.

الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنسَانِ مِن طِينٍ
7. The One who refined everything He created; and He began the creation of the human from mud.

ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُ مِن سُلَالَةٍ مِّن مَّاء مَّهِينٍ
8. Then He made his offspring from a discharge of base water.

ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
9. Then He leveled him and blew into him from His spirit; and He made for you the hearing and the sight and the hearts, little do you thank.

وَقَالُوا أَئِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَئِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ بَلْ هُم بِلِقَاء رَبِّهِمْ كَافِرُونَ
10. And they said, "So, if we deviated amid Earth are we (made) into a new creation?"  Rather they are, in the meeting of their Lord, repudiators.

قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُم مَّلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ
11. Say: "Reclaims you does the Angel of Death, who was charged with you, then to your Lord you are returned."

وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الْمُجْرِمُونَ نَاكِسُوا رُؤُوسِهِمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ رَبَّنَا أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا فَارْجِعْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ
12. And if you (could) see then, the malefactors hanging their heads to their Lord, "Our Lord, we saw and heard, so return us to perform righteous deeds; assuredly we are certain."

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَآتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَاهَا وَلَكِنْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ مِنِّي لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
13. And if We willed, We would have given each soul its guidance but right is the utterance from Me: "I will surely fill Hell from the jinn and humanity, all together."

فَذُوقُوا بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاء يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا إِنَّا نَسِينَاكُمْ وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
14. So taste for what you have forgotten, the meeting of this day of yours, We have assuredly forgotten you - and taste the torment of eternity for what you have performed.

إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
15. In fact, have faith in Our signs do those who, when they are reminded with them, collapse prostrating and extol with the praise of their Lord and not are they arrogant. {Perform prostration}

تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
16. Made aloof are their sides from the beds, they call their Lord fearing and coveting; and from what We provisioned them, they spend.

فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّا أُخْفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاء بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
17. So, knows not does a soul what was hidden to them of coolness to the eye, recompense for what they were performing.

أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًا لَّا يَسْتَوُونَ
18. Is he who was ever faithful like he who was ever divergent?  They equate not.

أَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْمَأْوَى نُزُلًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
19. As for the ones who had faith and did righteous deeds, then to them are the Gardens of Shelter, a hostel, for what they have ever performed.

وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا فَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
20. And as for the ones who diverged, then their dwelling is The Fire; whenever they wanted to exit it they were restored to it and it was said to them, "Taste the torment of The Fire, the one that you have belied."
