وَجَاءتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّعَهَا سَائِقٌ وَشَهِيدٌ
21. And came did each soul, with it a driver and a witness. 

لَقَدْ كُنتَ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَاءكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ
22. You have truly been in oblivion of this so We lifted from you your lid, thus your vision today is most sharp. 

وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُ هَذَا مَا لَدَيَّ عَتِيدٌ
23. And said his concomitant, "This is what I have, most-prepared."

أَلْقِيَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
24. "Cast into Hell every most-stubborn repudiator...

مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيبٍ
25. ...preventer of good, a suspicious transgressor."

الَّذِي جَعَلَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِي الْعَذَابِ الشَّدِيدِ
26. "The one who made with Allah another god, so cast him into the vigorous torment."

قَالَ قَرِينُهُ رَبَّنَا مَا أَطْغَيْتُهُ وَلَكِن كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ
27. Said his concomitant, "Our Lord, I did not make him tyrannize and yet he was in far deviation."

قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا لَدَيَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِالْوَعِيدِ
28. He said, "Contest not before Me, for I have truly forwarded you the threat."

مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ وَمَا أَنَا بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
29. "Not substituted is the utterance before Me, and not am I an oppressor to the slaves."

يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِن مَّزِيدٍ
30. The day We say to Hell "Are you filled?" and it says, "Is there more?" 

وَأُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ
31. And made close was The Garden to the venerators, not far.

هَذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ
32. This is what you are promised, for every most preserving penitent.

مَنْ خَشِيَ الرَّحْمَن بِالْغَيْبِ وَجَاء بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيبٍ
33. Whoever revered Ar-Rahman in the unseen and came with a contrite core.

ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُلُودِ
34. Enter it with peace, this is the Day of Immortality.

لَهُم مَّا يَشَاؤُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ
35. For them is whatever they will in it, and with Us is more.

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ
36. And how many We destroyed of a generation before them who were more vigorous than them in assaulting; so drilled did they among the towns, was there any evasion?

إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
37. Assuredly in this is a remembrance for whoever has had a core or cast the hearing while he was most-witnessing.

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ
38. And We have truly created the heavens and Earth and what is between them in six days; and touched Us not did any fatigue.

فَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ
39. So be patient with what they say and extol in praise of your Lord before the ascension of the sun and before the set.

وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَارَ السُّجُودِ
40. And from the night, then praise Him, and (at) the tail-end of the prostration.
