(55) Ar-Rahman: The All Merciful

سورة الرحمن

يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ
41. Known are the malefactors by their brands, so taken (are they) by the forelocks and the feet.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
42. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
43. This is Hell, the one that belie it do the malefactors.

يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ
44. They circulate between it and scalding water (that) instant.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
45. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ
46. And for whomever fears the Position of his Lord are two gardens.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
47. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ
48. Both possessing branches.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
49. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ
50. In them both are two springs, running.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
51. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ
52. In them both (there is) from every fruit a pair.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
53. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَى فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ
54. Reclining on beddings whose linings are of brocade; and the reapings of the two gardens are close.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ
56. In them are (ones) constraining their glances; deflowered them not has a human before them, nor jinn.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
57. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ
58. They are like Rubies and Coral.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
59. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

هَلْ جَزَاء الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ
60. Is the recompense for refinement but refinement?

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
61. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

* The words "both" and "two" do not explicitly occur anywhere in this surah. However, the Arabic conjugation for 'two' of anything is used which differs from the conjugation for the singular form and from the plural conjugation for more than two.
