بِـسْـمِ
اللهِ
الرَّحـْمـنِ
الرَّحِـيـمِ
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.
الرَّحْمَنُ
1. Ar-Rahman,
عَلَّمَ
الْقُرْآنَ
2. He taught the Quran,
خَلَقَ
الْإِنسَانَ
3. He created the humans,
عَلَّمَهُ
الْبَيَانَ
4. He taught him the expression.
الشَّمْسُ
وَالْقَمَرُ
بِحُسْبَانٍ
5. The sun and the moon are within calculation.
وَالنَّجْمُ
وَالشَّجَرُ
يَسْجُدَانِ
6. And the stars and the trees both prostrate.
وَالسَّمَاء
رَفَعَهَا
وَوَضَعَ
الْمِيزَانَ
7. And the sky, He elevated it and placed the scale,
أَلَّا
تَطْغَوْا
فِي
الْمِيزَانِ
8. ...for not are you to tyrannize in the scale.
وَأَقِيمُوا
الْوَزْنَ
بِالْقِسْطِ
وَلَا
تُخْسِرُوا
الْمِيزَانَ
9. And establish the weighing in fairness, and have not loss in the
scale.
وَالْأَرْضَ
وَضَعَهَا
لِلْأَنَامِ
10. And Earth, He placed it for the beings.
فِيهَا
فَاكِهَةٌ
وَالنَّخْلُ
ذَاتُ
الْأَكْمَامِ
11. In it is fruit, and the palms possessing sleeves.
وَالْحَبُّ
ذُو
الْعَصْفِ
وَالرَّيْحَانُ
12. And the grain possessing hulls and herbage.
فَبِأَيِّ
آلَاء
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
13. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?
خَلَقَ
الْإِنسَانَ
مِن
صَلْصَالٍ
كَالْفَخَّارِ
14. He created the human from clay, like pottery.
وَخَلَقَ
الْجَانَّ
مِن
مَّارِجٍ
مِّن
نَّارٍ
15. And created the jinn from stirs of fire.
فَبِأَيِّ
آلَاء
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
16. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?
رَبُّ
الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ
وَرَبُّ
الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
17. Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests.
فَبِأَيِّ
آلَاء
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
18. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?
مَرَجَ
الْبَحْرَيْنِ
يَلْتَقِيَانِ
19. He stirred the two seas, they meet.
بَيْنَهُمَا
بَرْزَخٌ
لَّا
يَبْغِيَانِ
20. Between them is a barrier, they infringe not.
فَبِأَيِّ
آلَاء
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
21. So, in which boons of your Lord do you both belie?

The words "both" and "two" do not explicitly
occur anywhere in this surah. However, the Arabic
conjugation for 'two' of anything is used which differs from the
conjugation for the singular form and from the plural
conjugation for more than two.
