(67) Al-Mulk: The Dominion

سورة الملك

أَمَّنْ هَذَا الَّذِي يَرْزُقُكُمْ إِنْ أَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهُ بَل لَّجُّوا فِي عُتُوٍّ وَنُفُورٍ
21. Or who is this provisioning you if He withholds His provision? Rather, they persisted in insolence and fleeing rushing (away).

أَفَمَن يَمْشِي مُكِبًّا عَلَى وَجْهِهِ أَهْدَى أَمَّن يَمْشِي سَوِيًّا عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
22. Is he who walks (with) preoccupation on his face more guided, or he who walks leveled on a straight path?

قُلْ هُوَالَّذِي أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
23. Say: "He is the One who constructed you and made for you the hearing and the sight and the hearts; little do you thank."

قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
24. Say: "He is the One who propagated you in Earth, and to Him you are massed."

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
25. And they say, "When is this promise, if you are
truthful ones?"

قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
26. Say: "In fact the knowledge is but with Allah, and in fact I am but a manifest warner."

فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيئَتْ وُجُوهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَقِيلَ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تَدَّعُونَ
27. So when they saw it closing, ill became the faces of the ones who repudiated and it was said, "This is that which you have ever called for."

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِيَ اللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِيَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ الْكَافِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
28. Say: "Do you see? Whether Allah destroyed me and whoever is with me or He mercied us, then still who harbors the repudiators from painful torment?"

قُلْ هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ آمَنَّا بِهِ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
29. Say: "He is The All Merciful, we had faith in Him and on Him we relied, so you will know who is in manifest deviation."

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَاؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَاء مَّعِينٍ
30. Say: "Do you see? If your water were to bottom out, then who would provide you with welling water?"
