بِـسْـمِ اللهِ الرَّحـْمـنِ الرَّحِـيـمِِ
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.

تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
1. Blessed is the One who in His hand is the dominion, and He is over everything most able. 

الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُالْغَفُورُ
2. The One who created death and life to try you, which of you has finer deeds, and He is The Most Esteemed, The Most Forgiving. 

الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا مَّا تَرَى فِي خَلْقِ الرَّحْمَنِ مِن تَفَاوُتٍ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَى مِن فُطُورٍ
3. The One who created seven heavens layered; you see not in the creation of Ar-Rahman any disparity.  So return the sight, do you see any fissures?

ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِأً وَهُوَحَسِيرٌ
4. Then return the sight twice; it inverts to you, the sight, spurned and it is weary.

وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ
5. And We have truly decorated the lowest heaven with lamps and We have made them projectiles to the devils, and We prepared for them the torment of The Blaze.

وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
6. And to those who repudiated with their Lord is the torment of Hell, and miserable is the destination.

إِذَا أُلْقُوا فِيهَا سَمِعُوا لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِيَ تَفُورُ
7. When they are cast into it they hear from it gasping as it boils over.

تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ كُلَّمَا أُلْقِيَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ
8. It almost bursts with rage; whenever a drove is cast into it, its keepers ask them, "Arrived not to you did any warner?"

قَالُوا بَلَى قَدْ جَاءنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ كَبِيرٍ
9. They said, "Yea!  A warner has truly come to us, yet we belied and said: Allah descended not anything, indeed you are but in great deviation."

وَقَالُوا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِي أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ
10. And they said, "If we had listened or minded we would not be among companions of The Blaze."

فَاعْتَرَفُوا بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ
11. So they admitted to their guilt; so away with the companions of The Blaze.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
12. Assuredly those who revere their Lord in the unseen, for them are forgiveness and great reward.

وَأَسِرُّوا قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِ اجْهَرُوا بِهِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
13. And conceal your speech or reveal it, assuredly He is most knowledgeable in the very being of the chests.

أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ
14. Does He not know who He created and He is The Most Gentle, The Most Informed? 

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَامْشُوا فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِن رِّزْقِهِ وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
15. He is the One who made for you Earth subjugated, so walk in its flanks and eat from His provision; and to Him is The Display.

أَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِي السَّمَاءأَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ
16. Have you been secured from the One in the heavens engulfing you with the land?  So then, there it is wobbling.

أَمْ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِي السَّمَاء أَن يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ
17. Or have you been secured from the One in the heavens sending on you a tempest? So, you shall know how We warn.

وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
18. And those from before them had truly belied, so how We did ever deny (them)!

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَافَّاتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا الرَّحْمَنُ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيرٌ
19. Have they not seen the birds over them stretching and they contract?  Naught holds them but Ar-Rahman, assuredly He is in everything most sighted.

أَمَّنْ هَذَا الَّذِي هُوَ جُندٌ لَّكُمْ يَنصُرُكُم مِّن دُونِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنِ الْكَافِرُونَ إِلَّا فِي غُرُورٍ
20. Or who is this, the One who is (as) troops to you, championing you, outside of Ar-Rahman?  Yet the repudiators are but in deceit.
