إِنَّ
جَهَنَّمَ
كَانَت ْمِرْصَادًا
21. Assuredly Hell
was ever a lookout.
لِلْطَّاغِينَ
مَآبًا
22. For the tyrants, a retreat.
لَابِثِينَ
فِيهَا
أَحْقَابًا
23. They subsist in it eons.
لَّا
يَذُوقُونَ
فِيهَا
بَرْدًا
وَلَا
شَرَابًا
24. They taste not in it coolness nor drink,
إِلَّا
حَمِيمًا
وَغَسَّاقًا
25. ...except scalding water and ooze.
جَزَاء
وِفَاقًا
26. Appropriate recompense.
إِنَّهُمْ
كَانُوا
لَا
يَرْجُونَ
حِسَابًا
27. They were not aspiring (for) an account.
وَكَذَّبُوا
بِآيَاتِنَا
كِذَّابًا
28. And they belied Our signs, belying!
وَكُلَّ
شَيْءٍ
أَحْصَيْنَاهُ
كِتَابًا
29. And everything We have reckoned (in) a writ.
فَذُوقُوا
فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ
إِلَّا
عَذَابًا
30. So taste, since We will not increase you except (in)
torment.
إِنَّ
لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
مَفَازًا
31. Assuredly for the venerators is triumph.
حَدَائِقَ
وَأَعْنَابًا
32. Orchards and grapevines,
وَكَوَاعِبَ
أَتْرَابًا
33. ...and buxom compeers,
وَكَأْسًا
دِهَاقًا
34. ...and brimming goblets.
لَّا
يَسْمَعُونَ
فِيهَا لَغْوًا
وَلَا
كِذَّابًا
35. They hear not in it drivel nor belying.
جَزَاء
مِّن
رَّبِّكَ
عَطَاء
حِسَابًا
36. Recompense from you Lord, a giving calculated.
رَبِّ
السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالْأَرْضِ
وَمَا
بَيْنَهُمَا
الرحْمَنِ
لَا
يَمْلِكُونَ
مِنْهُ خِطَابًا
37. Lord of the heavens and Earth and whatever is between
them, Ar-Rahman, they own not from Him speech.
يَوْمَ
يَقُومُ
الرُّوحُ
وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ
صَفًّا
لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ
إِلَّا
مَنْ
أَذِنَ
لَهُ
الرحْمَنُ
وَقَالَ
صَوَابًا
38. The day (when) stands the spirit and the angels in rows
talking not, except whomever Ar-Rahman permitted and he said
correctness.
ذَلِكَ
الْيَوْمُ
الْحَقُّ
فَمَن شَاء
اتَّخَذَ
إِلَى
رَبِّهِ
مَآبًا
39. That is the Day of Right, so whoever wills took a
retreat to his Lord.
إِنَّا
أَنذَرْنَاكُمْ
عَذَابًا
قَرِيبًا
يَوْمَ
يَنظُرُ
الْمَرْءُ
مَا
قَدَّمَتْ
يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ
الْكَافِرُ
يَا
لَيْتَنِي
كُنتُ
تُرَابًا
40. Assuredly We warned you (of) a near torment, the day one looks at
what his hands forwarded, and says the repudiator "If only I
were soil."
