بِـسْـمِ
اللهِ
الرَّحـْمـنِ
الرَّحِـيـمِِ
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.
وَالسَّمَاءِ
وَالطَّارِقِ
1. By the sky and The Nocturnal
وَمَاأَدْرَاكَ
مَا
الطَّارِقُ
2. And what realizes to you what The Nocturnal is?
النَّجْمُ
الثَّاقِبُ
3. The piercing star,
إِن
كُلُّ
نَفْسٍ
لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا
حَافِظٌ
4. ...for each soul will have over it a preserver.
فَلْيَنظُرِ
الْإِنسَانُ
مِمَّ
خُلِقَ
5. So let him see, the human, from what he was created.
خُلِقَ
مِن
مَّاءٍ دَافِقٍ
6. He was created from gushing water,
يَخْرُجُ
مِن
بَيْنِ
الصُّلْبِ
وَالتَّرَائِبِ
7. ...issuing from between the loin and chest-bones.
إِنَّهُ
عَلَى رَجْعِهِ
لَقَادِرٌ
8. Assuredly He is, in returning him, surely able.
يَوْمَ
تُبْلَى
السَّرَائِرُ
9. The day tried are the inner concealments,
فَمَا
لَهُ مِن
قُوَّةٍ وَلَا
نَاصِرٍ
10. ...then not for him is any strength, nor champion.
وَالسَّمَاء
ذَاتِ
الرَّجْعِ
11. By the sky, with the cycles.
وَالْأَرْضِ
ذَاتِ
الصَّدْعِ
12. By the earth, with the rifts.
إِنَّهُ
لَقَوْلٌ
فَصْلٌ
13. Assuredly, it is a separating speech,
وَمَا
هُوَ
بِالْهَزْلِ
14. ...and not is it of levity.
إِنَّهُمْ
يَكِيدُونَ
كَيْدًا
15. Assuredly they beguile, beguiling!
وَأَكِيدُ
كَيْدًا
16. And I beguile, beguiling!
فَمَهِّلِ
الْكَافِرِينَ
أَمْهِلْهُمْ
رُوَيْدًا
17. So respite the repudiators, respite them with leisure.
