بِـسْـمِ
اللهِ
الرَّحـْمـنِ
الرَّحِـيـمِِ
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.
وَالضُّحَى
1. By the midmorning,
وَاللَّيْلِ
إِذَا سَجَى
2. ...and the night when it lulls.
مَا
وَدَّعَكَ
رَبُّكَ
وَمَا
قَلَى
3. Not has your Lord forsaken you, nor loathed.
وَلَلْآخِرَةُ
خَيْرٌ
لَّكَ
مِنَ الْأُولَى
4. And the later (life) is better for you than the first.
وَلَسَوْفَ
يُعْطِيكَ
رَبُّكَ
فَتَرْضَى
5. And surely your Lord will give you, so you will be contented.
أَلَمْ
يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا
فَآوَى
6. Has He not found you an orphan, so He gave dwelling?
وَوَجَدَكَ
ضَالًّا
فَهَدَى
7. And He found you deviated, so He guided.
وَوَجَدَكَ
عَائِلًا
فَأَغْنَى
8. And He found you dependant, so He enriched.
فَأَمَّا
الْيَتِيمَ
فَلَا
تَقْهَرْ
9. So, as for the orphan, overpower (him) not.
وَأَمَّا
السَّائِلَ
فَلَا
تَنْهَرْ
10. And, as for the quester, scold (him) not.
وَأَمَّا
بِنِعْمَةِ
رَبِّكَ
فَحَدِّثْ
11. And, as for the grants of your Lord, then do narrate.
